Exhibition created in the context of the "Art [ ] Collector" art price that Eva Medin was the winner in 2023.
The exhibition presents new works by Eva Medin, opening up a new perspective in her practice by exploring the medium of painting and proposing a visual fable between drawing, tapestry and cinematography. Through a process of image revelation based on water and randomness, she seeks to reveal worlds and territories where the metaphysical, the supernatural, the infinitely small and the infinitely large coexist. Conceived as a global landscape evoking a certain contemporary romanticism, Eva Medin seeks to create an immersive meshing space to propose alternatives to our patriarchal urban culture, based on the distancing and exploitation of nature. Blending painting with the vocabulary of theater and cinema, she also continues her installation work here to unfold a landscape-architecture, akin to a Diorama, which directs the viewer's gaze towards the natural world.

L'exposition présente de nouvelles œuvres d'Eva Medin, ouvrant une nouvelle perspective dans sa pratique en explorant le médium de la peinture et en proposant une fable visuelle entre dessin, tapisserie et cinématographie. À travers un processus de révélation d'images basé sur l'eau et l'aléatoire, elle cherche à dévoiler des mondes et des territoires où coexistent le métaphysique, le surnaturel, l'infiniment petit et l'infiniment grand. Conçue comme un paysage global évoquant un certain romantisme contemporain, Eva Medin cherche à créer un espace de maillage immersif pour proposer des alternatives à notre culture urbaine patriarcale, basée sur la distanciation et l'exploitation de la nature. Mêlant la peinture au vocabulaire du théâtre et du cinéma, elle poursuit également ici son travail d'installation pour déployer une architecture-paysage, proche du diorama, qui oriente le regard du spectateur vers le monde naturel.
